Rosales Adams gets 4 STARS for Mail Order Bride: Sweetheart of the Wagon Train 1 A well written delightful Novella that takes place in the Historical Old West on a Wagon Train of young girls who are mail order Brides for Cade's (biggest rancher in area & master of train) ranch hands and some men in a neighbouring town in Montana. Kat ( a 25 yr old civil war widow) was the oldest Lady on the train who was supposed to teach the girls basic cooking, how to start a camp fire and possibly mending with riding a plus. Then as the Wagons Ho! on Kat shows her delightful pure spirit in everything she does in cooking & teaching, herding horses, fording a rushing river with the herd of horses with only 1 other person who was young & scared and managed in the little trains meeting up with the Indians to have received a nickname from them and was requested by the chief to marry his son. Whew, just getting out of that whole debacle had my emotions jumping from one to another. Finally, this exciting storyline was complete with interesting characters to carry it through.WARNING: 16 & Up. Greatest story of the rugged west. Cade taking a group of young ladies to be brides for his ranch men and some in the valley had a difficult time. Kat was among the ladies, a little older than most, but she could cook, shoot a gun and ride a horse. Raging rivers and hostile Indians were along the way. Cade and Kat found true love. You will enjoy this book
This is a good story. I enjoyed this book. It's a story about a woman joining a wagon train. She shows her courage.
Best western romance I've read in a long time! Just enough romance. Very good progression of story throughout. Well written.
Sweet romance with great characters. Plenty of drama and even Indians. This was a good book. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
There are some editing issues, but they didn't distract me from the story. I hope there will be more books to follow the characters.
