A great tool to get to know Jesus and the story of our King

Just get it. Let the Holy Spirit transform you inside and out. Ignore the complaints and the actors and interpretation. This is good. Bc the Spirit of God is in it point blank. Best credit ever spent. I would know... I love audible but this surpasses all other audibles ever.

Of Course the actors did a great job on this rendition of scripture. Not a crazy fan of Richard Dryfuss playing such a large role of Moses, I wasn't aware that he is a believer.This download comes in 14 files and is designed to be listened to like a novel. The Bible is not a novel but a large book of smallerbooks, chapters and verses. It is very difficult to search for specific texts. Through my android phone, I am able to listen to this in my car during my morning & evening commute and after a long day at work my eyes are too tired to read.I am considering purchasing the CD's for my car as I like to listen to sections at a time over and over to get it into my heart. <3

This is not a study Bible. It is difficult to locate specific verses. BUT it is the perfect way to emerce yourself in the Word of God while doing other things. Listen in the car, while doing housework, while walking the dog, ... My husband and I listen as we are going to sleep at night. Use it appropriately for adding to your time with the Lord and it is a blessing.

It is tough to review this audiobook. I have a love / hate relationship with it . I love listening to it but it is impossible to use. You have no way of knowing which section is what part of the Bible so I rarely use it unless I have alot of time to download section after section and listen to it to see what part of the Bible it is.

I cannot say if there are True Believers that I'll doing these reviews but I would say it is the Bible don't listen to the messenger listen to the message no one knows how Jesus sound or how God sound it's the Bible take the words and for what they mean and stop stressing out who shouldn't have gotten cash because they voice is not up to par who are you to pass judgment just sit back and listen to the words of our savior

After seeing an interview done with Caviezel, I had high hopes for this bible project. Very disappointing. I had plans to listen to this at bedtime, and the background noises (scratching as if writing on papyrus, music, rumbling noises, etc) were extremely, extremely distracting and irritating.The most disappointing thing about this huge project is that there is NO directory at all for this huge undertaking. In Audible, you can select a 'chapter' but there is no identifying name - Matthew, Revelations, Genesis - for ANY of these chapters, so it's always a guess what chapter or book you'll be listening to. I tried searching the web to see if SOMEWHERE there was a table of contents for the gazillion chapters and couldn't find one. Given the effort this must have taken, it is truly a shame that they couldn't have planned a layout - i.e, a page for the book of Matthew that says which actors are playing which parts, and using a labelling system to identify a chapter - i.e., 'Chapter 77 - Revelations' etc. I really wanted to like this, but I'm going to return it out of frustration. SO irritating!

Don't let their grammar fool you. These young girls and teens have a lot on their minds and aren't afraidto express it and let you know how they truly feel.

I wanted another perspective on the experiences of African American girls. This did meet my needs. Also, the book came on time and in as advertised. Was pleased with this purchase.

SUGAR IN THE RAW is an inspiring collection of essays written by 15 African American young women who, as the backcover asserts, "refuse to be ignored."These girls may share a racial ancestry but their stories are as unique as they are. This thin volume contains essays from young women of all walks of life: from a bisexual homegirl in Portland trying to keep it together to a biracial girl in lily white Vermont coming to terms with who she is, the reader of SUGAR will share in all the girl's excitement, fears and triumphs.The only drawback is the the book is so short. The editor interviewed over 90 girls from around the country but only 15 are included here. SUGAR can be easily read in one sitting and will leave you wanting more. Hopefully, a SUGAR II is in the works.All in all, this book would make a great gift for a young woman of any race.

I love these books. They make journaling quick and simple. There’s not a lot of room per day though so if you’re an avid journalist or want to write more than a sentence or 2, I would not recommend. I just love it because I really don’t journal at all but this one makes it simple and fun, especially when it comes to looking back a couple years.

I love this journal! I've always found it hard to maintain a journal - I felt like I had to fill all that empty space, and most days didn't feel worth writing about. With this, I can write just a few sentences, which is exactly what I need. I absolutely love that this is a 5-year journal as well. I'm over a year into my plain blue original one, and reflecting back on the past year is helping me to really see how my life has changed (or not). I bought this version of the One Line a Day journal for a friend. The cover and pages are beautiful, fun, and modern. This is a quality book - the binding is done well (no issues with mine after a year!), the colors are gorgeous, the cover is sturdy and beautiful, and the gold edging makes it all feel extra special. This is such a great gift for someone who you know loves the idea of journaling but doesn't have the time, and for folks who love reflection and introspection. I gifted the celestial version to an astronomer friend, and she's so happy with it. I can't say enough positive things about the quality of the One Line a Day journals. They are beautiful in themselves and make for lovely, treasured keepsakes. I so enjoy sitting in bed at the end of the day and taking a couple of minutes to fill in my journal and reflect on the day. I couldn't be happier with these journals or recommend them more highly. I wish I had started one a couple of years ago when I began law school! Such a wonderful way to hold on to memories of exciting times in someone's life. This won't disappoint!

I have known about these diaries for awhile, and when I saw this patterned cover I knew I had to get it. The colors are bright and the gold is shiny! It's absolutely beautiful! All the pages inside were there and in correct date order, and the ribbon bookmark is very handy. I will be getting more for gifts!
